Weekly Crime Stats 21 November 2022 to 27 November 2022

Monday 21 November 2022

12H28 – Armed Response reported pedestrian accident at the Corner of Koeberg and Bancroft Road. An elderly gentleman was knocked over.

  • Saps and Ambulance were contacted by control Room operators but no response. Law enforcement contacted, spoke to the operator and the call was logged, REF-1001458105.

13H07 – Ambulance, Fire and Rescue and Traffic Officers arrived on scene

  • Saps seen driving past the scene, did not stop.
  • Armed Response also reported no one on scene was badly hurt. 

22H15 – A Client from Da Gama Street sent a message requiring response for a disturbance outside the property. 5 suspects were hitting and kicking someone.

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed response reported on arrival he would require SAPS and an ambulance was needed urgently, the victim had been badly beaten. We were told that the victim who had been beaten stole a phone from the suspects who were beating him.
  • Law enforcement was called spoke to Operator REF-1001458544. Ambulance REF- 2826, Maitland saps, Const Mavuso.
  • Saps arrived – BTL935B.

Tuesday 22 November 2022

04H30 – Armed Response did a patrol at Italian club, asked control to check footage of rear camera, he said there is no camera. When checking the footage, a guy was seen climbing on the roof where the camera was at 20H40pm, the last signal was received at 20H56pm when camera had already been removed by someone.

Wednesday 23 November 2022

20H11 – Control noticed camera moving at on a client’s camera

  • Armed Response dispatched.
  • Armed Response arrived and reported 2 cameras were stolen and back 1 camera is hanging loose. A full premises check was done, but suspect had already fled the scene. 
  • Video footage was shown to the client and he confirmed he does know the suspect.

Friday 25 November 2022

08H18 – Whats App message received from Justin street, suspicious car parked in front of premises.

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response confirmed no suspicious vehicle upon arrival.

Sunday 27 November 2022

22H54 – Armed Response reported while doing his patrols, Daisy circle resident battery had been stolen. 

  • Armed Response officers did pursue suspects in a grey Avanza (no license plate) but they drove off Joe Slovo side, suspects eventually got away. 
  • Extra patrols done in area.
