06H20 – A Kings Road resident requested Armed Response assistance for people fighting in the street
- Armed Response dispatched
- Armed Response on arrival requested an Ambulance and SAPS. A 28 years old male was robbed and stabbed multiple times
- CoCT Emergency contacted. Ref: 1002106335. SAPS and Ambulance informed and dispatched
- CoCT Ambulance services contacted Control room to report they were on scene, but no sign of victim. Armed Response returns to scene and confirms victim had left the scene. Ambulance services left scene with all in order.
15h00 – A Rugby Service Station requested Armed Response assistance for a client that was argumentative and aggressive
- Armed Response dispatched
- On arrival, Armed Response made contact with a staff member, who confirmed the client had left before Armed Response arrived. Apparently this client is a problem, and the staff requested client to be removed if he enters premises again.
- Armed Response left the scene with all in order
Thursday 25 July 2024
18h37 – A Donegal Street resident requested assistance, as their key broke off in their lock.
- Armed Response dispatched
- Armed Response noted hacksaw and bolt cutter unable to cut the lock
- Tech Manager contacted, who confirmed he will come sort it out with a grinder
- Lock was cut open, and all in order when Armed Response and Tech Manager left site

13h16 – A Dick King resident requested Armed Response assistance for shots fire in the area
- Armed Response dispatched
- A Brooklyn Primary School reported alleged suspect on site
- Armed Response alerted and dispatched to the school - Armed Response Officer reports Clarendon and surrounds seems secure and clear of suspects
- Armed Response arrived at the Primary School – and confirms suspect has left the property and fled.
- Armed Response Officer receives a call that suspect was again at a Clarendon Street residence
- Armed Response arrived at premises and confirms suspect not on site.
- Whilst securing the premises, Armed Response Officer noted two bullet casings on the ground, which were collected to be handed over to Law Enforcement.
- Armed Response leaves site with all in order
Saturday 27 July 2024
20h55 – Armed Response Officer reports while on a patrol at a Brooklyn Club a delivery truck at the gate, with occupants attempting to make entry onto the site
- Armed Response reports driver confirmed they there to make a Diesel delivery for the generator – driver of the vehicle refuses to show the Armed Response Officer the Delivery Note. Armed Response Officer notes driver and assistant also intoxicated
- Company AND Vehicle details: Hyundai Delivery Van. LCD (Low Cost Diesel) with contact Number
- Control Room contacted the club owner who confirms Club generator takes petrol, and he had no knowledge of any deliveries
- Control Room instructed Armed Response Officers to take photos of vehicle, and to tell the vehicle to leave. Informed to be vigilant. Armed Response will monitor and do extra patrols
- NOTE: On checking Company details and phone number, no company of such name found CIPC database.
