07h10 – While on patrol Armed Response officers reported a break-in at a Rugby complex
- Armed Response Officer reports while on patrol a resident of a Rugby complex reported a break in on site – cannot say what time the incident occurred. Gate was apparently lifted from the rail and two males entered the premises. A Garage was broken into – and a number of items were taken
- Law enforcement was notified
Tuesday 05 August 2025
10h30 – A Brooklyn resident requested assistance on his property in Donegal street for a Vagrant on site very aggressive, throwing stones at him and his workers and refusing to leave
- Armed Response was dispatched engaging but was told to observe but not engage until law enforcement arrived
- CoCT Emergency contacted Ref: 1002675194 – SAPS informed
- Operations manager arrived on scene to speak to the resident
- Armed Response was told to resume patrols
- 10h45 – Operations Manager reported SAPS on site and vagrant removed
Sunday 10 August 2025
16h45 – A Brooklyn complex shift Senior Request Armed Response assistance for a noise complaint on site
- Armed Response dispatched who spoke to Tenant
- Reported all in order and resuming patrols
20h31 – A Rugby complex Shift Senior requested Armed Response and SAPS for noise complaint on site.
- Control room operator confirmed with the shift senior that there is a noise complaint at one of the units
- Armed Response dispatched and got the tenant to put off the music – noted tenant is intoxicated and aggressive.
- Armed Response also noted that on site Security noted a visitor at the unit jumped over the fence and seemed to be armed
- Tenant complied and Armed Response resumed patrols
