13h51 – A Kings Road resident requested Armed Response assistance for a vehicle parked opposite their home persons were drinking and urinating in the road
- Armed Response dispatched
- Armed Response arrived on scene and requested the person’s leave
- Armed Response reported persons left scene all in order
Friday 29 November 2024
03h59 – A Ferguson Street resident noted a suspect approach their vehicle in their driveway and look into driver’s side window, then left again
- Security informed and Armed Response dispatched
- Armed Response arrived on site and checked premises confirmed all in order
- Area checked and no sign of the suspect
20h39 – A Brooklyn Resident flagged down Armed Response officers and requested assistance for a victim of a hit and run. The victim was hit by a vehicle and the vehicle drove off
- CoCT Emergency contacted with Ref: 1002303293 – Ambulance services informed
- Armed Response reported Ambulance arrives on scene
- Victim transported all in order
23h46 – A Piet Grobler Street resident requested Armed Response assistance for tenants who are drinking and making a noise
- Armed Response arrived on scene and spoke to the noisy tenants the tenants closed their door but informed Armed Response they would keep it down
- Resumed patrols all in order
Saturday 30 November 2024
03h37 – A Brooklyn Service Station requested Armed Response assistance for an accident on their forecourt
- On arrival Armed Response reported a motor vehicle accident with two vehicles involved. One vehicle drove off, and the other drove into an electric pole – causing the power failure
- SAPS, Ambulance and other Services were on scene
- Armed Response resumed patrols all in order
04h15 – A Brooklyn complex resident requested Armed Response as they noted a suspicious male walking between vehicles and attempting to open them then left premises
- Armed Response dispatched
- On arrival Armed Response noted the gate was open
- Armed Response secured area and checked all the vehicles
- Confirming All in order on site
- Armed Response then closed the gate and confirmed site secure
21h05 – A Paarden Eiland petrol attendant reported street racers in Section street. Spectators had blocked off Entry and Exit points to the service station and no clients can enter the premises
- On Arrival Armed Response reported side streets in Section Street were also blocked off by spectators further blocking easy access to the area.
- Armed Response communicated with PECID Officers who confirmed SAPS and Metro police had been informed and they awaiting assistance
- CoCT Emergency contacted with Ref: 1002304784 – SAPS and Metro informed
Sunday 01 December 2024
01h05 – A Brooklyn Complex on site Security requested assistance for a couple who are fighting outside one of the units
- Armed Response arrived on site and confirmed the tenant wanted her boyfriend to move out.
- The boyfriend was outside the flat with his belongings and is awaiting a friend to come fetch him.
- Armed Response instructed the boyfriend to take his items to the security office and wait there for his friend to fetch him
- Armed Response resumes patrols
- Confirms all in order on site
