19h18 - A Silva street resident requested Armed Response due to a Female victim who was attacked

  • The resident called in and reported a female just got attacked on her way home by a man for her phone.
  • Female got attack on the corner of John Heddon and Silva street.
  • Suspect grabbed the victim around her neck, grabbed her phone and ran off.
  • Armed Response was informed and dispatched
  • On arrival on scene Armed Response reported they spoke to the lady that was robbed and she gave a description of suspect.
  • Suspect was wearing Black pants, black cap, grey jacket, light completion
  • Armed Response checked the area for the suspect he wasn’t found will be on the lookout when on patrol
  • All in order in area.

23h28 A Koeberg road resident sent a message requesting Armed Response assistance

  • A Brooklyn resident sent a WhatsApp message requesting Armed Response
  • Armed Response dispatched 
  • On arrival response officer reported the grandson of the resident arrived on her premises intoxicated and damaging the premises.
  • Her Grandson damaged the gate, perimeter fence and a motorbike.
  • Armed Response reported the motorbike does not belong to grandchild but to his boss.
  • No SAPS needed family will sort out the problem themselves.
  • All in order on premises.

03h12 Fire reported in Diep street and Shaddock road 

  • Armed response while on patrol noted a fire on the corner of Diep street and Shaddock road on the field 
  • Logged call with fire & rescue 
  • Fire was put out all in order.

16h56 A Panic alert was received from a Brooklyn Business

  • Armed Response dispatched 
  • On arrival Armed Response reported that an Uber driver was called out to transport staff home
  • On site personal reported the Uber driver was intoxicated and got aggressive because he was told he will not put his staff’s lives in danger by driving with him.
  • Uber driver left when Armed Response arrived. 
  • All in order on premises
  • Resuming Patrols

06h36 A Paarden Eiland Services Station requested assistance for an Injury on duty 

  • One of the staff members called in requesting an Ambulance as one of the staff had fallen on premises and is bleeding 
  • Dispatched Armed Response
  • Logged call with Law Enforcement ref 1002877897 Ambo ref 0475.
  • Informed owner of the incident
  • On arrival Armed Response reported male laying on the floor 
  • Informed not to get up Armed Response could not assess all the injuries
  • Armed Response instructed to leave premises and resume his patrols
  • Ambulance hasn’t arrived yet
  • All in order on premises
