04h03 – A Madeira Street resident requested Armed Response assistance

  • A Madeira Street resident reported two suspicious males on the corner pulling wires out of the light pole sending street into darkness
  • Armed response informed and on route
  • On arrival Armed Response reported suspects had run away wires laying in the street
  • Law Enforcement contacted ref 1002746501
  • Armed Response patrolled again and wires were gone from the street
  • City of Cape Town sorting out the problem
  • All in order resumed patrols

Thursday 25 September 2025

10h59 –A Service station on Koeberg Road requested Armed Response assistance

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response reported a male suspect asking everybody for petrol money and harassing the petrol attendants
  • Armed response spoke to the suspect and asked him to leave the premises
  • Armed response will patrol area and keep an eye on the suspect when spotted
  • No need for SAPS

14h45 – A Clarendon Street resident requested Armed Response and SAPS

  • A Clarendon Street resident required assistance as a tenant that was evicted came back and gained access into a room where he bolted himself in and does not want to come out
  • Agent is too scared to go and try and get him out
  • Armed response was sent and requested SAPS
  • Law Enforcement contacted ref: 1002748369, SAPS IR 161590
  • Armed response told agent to wait for SAPS to assist getting the suspect out of the room
  • Agent reported no SAPS arrived and went to Maitland SAPS office, were SAPS said they cannot remove person only the sheriff of the court is allowed to remove people
