17h24 – A CHAMOIS Street resident RUGBY – BREAKIN

  • A Chamois Street resident sent a WhatsApp message her house had been broken into                                  
  • Armed response was dispatched on arrival Armed Response requested SAPS
  • Control room operator phoned Milnerton SAPS - no reply 
  • Law Enforcement contacted ref no. 1002501577
  • Goods that were missing 2 x cellphone, 1 x fast charger and a laptop
  • Armed Response to do extra patrols

Thursday 03 April 2025

05h03 - Motor vehicle accident in Princess Alice Street reported

  • Armed response reported motor vehicle accident on the corner of Section Street and Princess Alice street
  • The suspect drove onto the pavement and the vehicle got stuck on the pavement the suspect was also under the influence of alcohol
  • 2 other suspects came up to him and stole his wallet and cellphone so he had no driver’s license on him 
  • The driver run after the suspects and was stabbed in the lung
  • Armed response requested SAPS and ambulance
  • All suspects run off in direction of Paarden Island 
  • Law Enforcement ref no. 1002503647 and ambulance ref no. 0649
  • Driver was wearing a blue pants white and black jacket and black top
  • Ambulance on scene VAN 11
  • Fire and Rescue – on scene E65
  • Traffic officers on scene
  • Tow Truck on scene for the vehicle
  • Driver was transported via ambulance to Somerset Hospital

Sunday 06 April 2025

11h53 – A DONEGAL Street traffic incident occurred 

  • Armed response reported whilst on patrol they heard a loud bang close by 
  • On investigating Armed Response noted a Black BMW had crashed through a resident’s front wall
  • On inspection of the scene the driver of BMW was nowhere to be found the vehicle in question had no plates or tags - and Armed Response reported a bystander informed them the vehicle was allegedly involved in an armed robbery the day before
  • According to bystanders the BMW jumped a stop sign - swerved from hitting a black Corsa bakkie - then drove into the resident’s wall
  • While Control room operators were contacting CoCT Emergency for assistance Armed Response reported SAPS arrived on scene 
  • On investigation they found the suspect who drove the BMW and arrested him
  • Armed response noted residents on site were aware of the situation 
  • Armed Response resumed patrol all in order
