Monday 07 November 2022

20H30 – Armed Response received message from a Madeira Street resident requesting response due to fight occurring across the road from the residence

  • Armed Response proceeded
  • Upon arrival Armed Response officers reported suspects hanging out in the park just smoking no suspicious activity going on

Wednesday 09 November 2022

04H58 – The Guard on site at a Madeira street residence reported 2 male suspects entered the property through the front door, he fired shots at them and they ran away

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response reported patrol done and no sign of the suspects all OK
  • Officers will petrol at regular intervals and make sure suspects don’t return

07H53 – Client from Kettley Way reported to Alpha 2 that there was a gentleman standing on the field the same way for the past two days behind Dreyer Street

  • Armed response dispatched
  • Upon arrival Armed Response officers reported a deceased male hanging in the tree, Alpha 1 was also on scene
  • Milnerton SAPS was contacted and confirmed they would send out a van
  • Armed Response reported SAPS on scene and the response officers gave SAPS officers Dreyer street residents details so as to collect camera footage.

Sunday 13 November 2022

11H00 – Alpha 2 reported to control attempted break-in at Protea crescent which was reported to him by Kettley Way resident

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Control contacted the resident and he confirmed it was 3 male suspects driving in a Toyota Corolla hatchback they were in the yard and had broken the window but couldn’t get in due to burglar bars that’s when the neighbor peered over the wall to check and she was pepper sprayed and she couldn’t take down the car registration.
  • Protea residence are ADT clients and our officers were unable to proceed

18H18 – Ferguson Street Plumstead resident reported a suspect banging and pulling on their security gate, requested SAPS to be contacted.

  • SAPS was contacted spoke to the Warrant officer who confirmed they’re busy with shift change they will attend to the call once done.
  • Control room operators called the resident to confirm if SAPS had responded which they hadn’t 
  • Control Room operators called SAPS and were told they are short staffed and would send a van as soon as they could.
