14h06 – A Corah Street resident requested Armed Response assistance
- A Corah Street resident sent a message requesting Armed response assistance in Fontana Street
- A suspect was trying to break into a vehicle and the suspect was detained by the resident
- Law Enforcement ref no 1002209059 was informed
- Armed response and Alpha 2 were dispatched to investigate
- Alpha 2 phoned the father of the suspect and was releasing him into his father's Custody
- All in order problem sorted out
Wednesday 02 October 2024
16h51 – A Brooklyn SERVICE STATION required Armed Response assistance
- Armed response dispatched
- Armed response on scene and requested SAPS assistance - apparently a vagrant entered the shop and started opening items and eating it - he also started throwing items around
- Armed response confirmed suspect in custody
- CoCT Emergency contacted Ref: 1002212136 - SAPS informed.
- Whilst on the line with CoCT Emergency – Armed response requested assistance as suspect becoming highly aggressive and fighting even while handcuffed
- Alpha 2 informed and confirmed In-route
- Alpha 2 arrived on scene and secures and calms suspect
- CoCT Emergency contacted again who confirmed SAPS says they were busy with shift change and might be awhile.
- Alpha 2 informed.
- Alpha 2 confirms he spoke to the garage staff and the suspect was released with a severe warning.
- Armed response and Alpha 2 leave site all in order

19h41 – A BROOKLYN SUPERMARKET request Armed Response
- A Brooklyn supermarket called the control room and requested armed response as they caught a boy stealing in the shop and they did inform the SAPS
- Armed response dispatched
- Armed response reported back a boy 15 years of age stole food and start eating it
- One of the workers will escort suspect to his father so he can come and pay for the stuff that he stole and what he had eaten
- The owner said he won’t press charges but ban the boy for coming into the shop
- Armed response left scene all in order for now

17h47 – 4 DAISY CIRCLE
- A daisy Circle resident sent a message to report a gentleman stopped a blue Hyundai Getz in Kettley Way got out of the car and walk away left windows open; the car has been standing there for more than 30 mins
- Armed Response dispatched
- On arrival Armed Response reported they found tracker 365 recovery people on scene as car was hi-jacked and stolen they are trying to get hold of owner to return the car if they don't get hold of the owner they will get a tow truck to tow the car away
- Armed response left scene and resumed patrols
