18h32 – A van der Stel street resident requested an ambulance for her mother
The daughter of a van der Stel Street residence requested an ambulance for her mother, who fell, and is in pain.
- Control room contacted a resident on the premises, who confirms the lady does not want to go to hospital, but is in serious pain. She needs assistance to get up and get helped to her bed.
- Control then advised tenant that the lady is to stay as is, not to move her, make her comfortable – an ambulance will be contacted to assess in case of serious injury.
- Ambulance contacted and dispatched.
- Resident informed - noted to resident they must contact Control Room if Ambulance not on site in an hour.
- Armed Response not sent to assist on site

05h08 – A Brooklyn Service station requested Armed Response assistance
On arrival, Armed Response was informed of two suspects who entered the locker room area and fled before Armed Response arrived. No items were taken
- Armed Response did a swept of the area but no sign of the suspects.
- Armed Response proceeded with other duties leaving site all in order
23h54 – A Koeberg Road Business requested Armed Response assistance
- Resident reported he saw 4 suspects attempting to break into the premises.
- Armed Response dispatched
- Armed Response arrived and did a patrol around premises. Armed Response reported no one on the premises and no suspicious persons in surrounding vicinity.
- The resident did inform control that he has gone to secure the items that he assumed the suspects were trying to steal
- Armed Response did another patrol of the surrounding area before continuing with normal patrols
Sunday 22 September 2024
04h31 – A Roome street resident called requesting assistance at his premises.
- Armed Response dispatched
- Armed response reported on arrival that saps will be needed at the premises as there is an argument between the resident and an uber driver causing problems in front of his premises. Arguing continued for a while and then Armed Response managed to calm the situation down.
- Control room operator did contact law enforcement but cancelled the call as the situation was resolved by Armed Response
21h13pm - Corner Fenwick and Da Gama Road resident needed assistance with a hit and run
- Armed Response reported a resident needed SAPS assistance for a hit and run
- The suspect who had hit the victim’s vehicle fled the scene but the victim managed to chase him down to Corner Fenwick and Da Gama rd.
- Armed Response was doing patrols when she came across the men arguing about the hit and run that had taken place.
- Control contacted Law enforcement ref 1002198250.
- Armed Response had been standing down for SAPS to arrive Knightowl officer was informed to get the suspects details who had hit the victim and advise him to go and open a case
23h00pm – A Clarendon Crescent resident requested Armed Response assistance.
- Armed Response was dispatched.
- On arrival Armed Response reported there was a domestic dispute between a husband and wife, who are tenants at the premises. Control room operator contacted Law enforcement, who then requested the number of the Armed Response officer on site for more information
- Armed Response then left the scene as the wife again became aggressive with Armed Response and was also belligerent and wanting to get physical
- Saps had not arrived yet
