Weekly Crime Report – 23 June to 29 June 2025

Friday 27 June 2025

13h49 – A Farnsworth Street resident requested Armed Response assistance and an Ambulance for a male having a stroke

  • Armed Response Officers arrived on scene and reported a 58-year-old male had a heart attack
  • Armed Response reported that the son said his father had a mild stroke that morning
  • ER24 contacted Ref: 0580
  • Armed Response reported medics on scene, and will take the patient to the Hospital

23h04 – A Caltex Service Station phoned in and reported suspects throwing stones at people on the site

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response arrived on scene and spoke with staff – noted damage to windows on site.  Suspects had left the scene.
  • Armed Response patrolled the area to search for suspects. Suspects not found
  • Armed Response returned to the site and confirmed staff reported that a female suspect bought something at the shop and was unhappy with the service.  Female left, and a little later, she returned with about 8 male suspects.  The suspects then proceeded to throw stones at the premises and staff, resulting in the shop windows being damaged.
  • Armed Response secures scene and reports all else in order resuming patrols

Saturday 28 June 2025

14h21 – A Brooklyn Service Station reported a disturbance on site

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response arrived on scene and spoke with staff who reported people were fighting on the premises, but left before Armed Response arrived
  • Armed Response reports all in order on site resuming patrols

15h57 – A Brooklyn Service station requested Armed Response and Medical assistance for a victim

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response arrived on scene and requested an Ambulance and SAPS
  • Armed Response reported a 30-year-old male was attacked and severely injured.  Severe lacerations to his right leg, stab wound to the stomach and a head injury.
  • Armed Response reported SAPS on scene, who said they will take patient to hospital
  • Armed Response leaves scene with all in order
