Weekly Crime Report – 25 March to 31 March 2024

Thursday 28 March 2024

07h29 – A Brooklyn Business reported a break in last night. A trolley and radiator parts from a Toyota, and power tools were stolen for the property theft occurred early hours of the morning

  • Armed Response dispatched to investigate
  • Armed Response checked and reported positive break in 

Saturday 30 March 2024

03h04 – A Mill Street resident phoned in to report the house opposite his house there was a suspect standing at the gate and shouting

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response reported they spoke to the suspect he says he is a resident of the property and is waiting there for them to open for him as he came from a party
  • Control tried to get hold of Milnerton SAPS but no answer 
  • The suspect jumped over the wall again at 03h22 and did not come out again 
  • All in order for now

Sunday 31 March 2024

17h52 - A Brooklyn Resident sent a message requesting Armed Response as a drunk lady is making a scene on her premises, she wanted the lady to be remove from premises

  • Armed Response was dispatched to remove the lady from premises after been removed she kept on harassing Armed Response she was very intoxicated
  • Armed Response requested that SAPS to be contacted to assist and speak to the lady, Maitland SAPS Captain was informed and said they will send van as soon as one is available as they are busy with shift changed
  • Armed Response was informed and Armed Response reported lady left the area
  • All in order returning to patrols
