Monday 11 December 2023

19h39 – Armed Response reports a vehicle that has been noted in area and possible link to armed robberies a Silver Toyota two bravo males in vehicle parked behind Vasco Park

Wednesday 13 December 2023

05h00 Control room received a call from a Kings Road resident due to her son who had broken down her front door to get inside the house

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response arrived and requested SAPS assistance 
  • Law Enforcement notified ref 1001844630 and SAPS called ref 1087508 
  • Armed Response reported the son of the resident had left but police still come and Armed Response will follow up with the resident if SAPS had respond
  • Armed Response reported no SAPS arrived yet

19h10 – Received a message from a Steenbras Street resident requesting an ambulance for her sister who had a stroke

  • Law Enforcement contacted who then requested the resident contact details so they can get more detailed information

Friday 15 December 2023

00h12 – A Clarendon Crescent resident requested assistance for a suspect who was trying to assault her and her daughter 

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • On arrival Armed Response requested SAPS to be called 
  • Armed Response reported a disturbance when they arrived on scene and found a lady and a gentleman arguing and she was accusing him of rapping her daughter he then started verbally abusing Armed Response and had to be pepper sprayed to subdue him as he wanted to attack the Officer after he instructed him to stop but he did not so he had to be restrained
  • SAPS arrived on scene 
  • Armed Response returned to duties

01h41 – A Brooklyn petrol station requested Armed Response assistance

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • On arrival Armed Response reported SAPS needed for people fighting
  • Officers reported they found that a few gentlemen were arguing with a female regarding car keys apparently, she took the keys from the taxi driver as she had no money to pay for the lift in all the commotion the owner found his keys and left scene
  • Law Enforcement was informed
  • Armed Response reported he cancelled SAPS as the situation was resolved
  • The people who were causing the commotion left all in order

12h58 – A Fenwick Street resident noted a white male falling from the back of a white bakkie, he was hanging on the side, male looked hurt and was limping when he got up, he spoke to the driver then the bakkie drove off

  • Armed Response dispatched to find out if ambulance was needed 
  • NSCI notified
  • Armed Response arrived on scene and made contact with the victim
  • The victim reported he does not require any assistance Armed Response reported male has multiple bleeding injuries on his legs and arms and declined medical assistance
  • Armed Response resumed his normal duties 
  • Feedback was given to NSCI

Saturday 16 December 2023

19h09 – A Madeira Street resident requested armed response for woman fighting in Madeira Park

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Offices reported on arrival at Madeira park 2 x female suspects arguing the one suspect was very intoxicated 
  • Armed Response reported sorted out all in order

Sunday 17 December 2023

11h34 – A Koeberg Road resident requested Armed Response to remove a vehicle that was parked illegally reported the resident has three vehicles and only allowed one vehicle in the parking space on premises, resident has received eviction notice and seems to do what he wants

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • On arrival at premises Armed Response reported resident is now highly aggressive and refuses to move his vehicle
  • Control informed Armed Response that they will call a tow truck to come and remove the resident’s vehicle on hearing this the resident removed his vehicle from premises
  • Complaining resident was informed of above feedback
  • Armed Response left scene all in order
