Monday 11 September 2023

16h29 – A Lavis Crescent Resident requested Armed Response for a female fighting with him and refusing to leave the premises

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response confirms the complaining resident had a fight with the female suspect and she would not leave
  • Armed Response escorted her from the premises the suspect was drinking with her friends on the premises.

Tuesday 12 September 2023

10h23 – A Brooklyn Club reported a Horse and Cart without driver or occupants run onto premises and into the rear wall.

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 responded as well
  • The horse highly agitated and looked scared when driver approached it.
  • Horse and Cart Association contacted and confirmed Inspector enroute to investigate
  • Armed Response detained the Horse and Cart and driver to await Inspector
  • Armed Response reports Horse and Cart Association Inspector arrives on scene
  • Armed Response proceeds with normal duties
  • Horse and Cart Association Inspector notifies Control that the horse was sent home. Owner of the horse will be contacted. Inspector will do check ups regularly on condition and treatment of the horse.

Wednesday 13 September 2023

09h55 – A Brooklyn School requested Armed Response assistance for a lady that was being harassed by a suspicious male outside the premises. 

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Armed Response reports on scene.  Suspicious male was given a warning, and then he left
  • Armed Response escorted the victim home

Saturday 16 September 2023

01h21 – A Da Gama resident reported four suspicious persons walking in direction Church Street two of the suspects were checking houses.

  • Armed Response informed and dispatched to investigate
  • NSCI Group notified
  • Noted the suspects turned right in direction of Kings Road
  • Armed Response updated on suspects location
  • Armed Response notes suspects are entering and leaving un-fenced premises and they moved direction of Tulbagh, constantly entering un-fenced residences
  • Control contacts CoCT Emergency to request SAPS assist.  Ref:  1001748666
  • Armed Response followed them to the Cul de Sac in Tulbagh Street, where they entered, but did not come out
  • CoCT informed of suspects last location
  • NSCI Group notified

13h20 – A Donagal Street requests assist for illegal trading in front of their premises

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • Law Enforcement contacted Ref:  10017499005
  • Armed Response reports Law Enforcement on scene

18h24 – A Paarden Eiland Gargage requested Armed Response assistance

  • Armed Response dispatched
  • CoCT Emergency contacted to despatch SAPS.  Ref: 1001749171
  • Armed Response on scene, and reports a Black and White Bakkie, with no plates, filled up with R500 petrol, asked to use the bathroom, then got in vehicle and left without paying
  • Control Contacts CoCT Emergency and updates them with updated info.

Sunday 17 September 2023

04h13 – A Chamois Street resident reported a suspicious male approach a silver car parked in the street.  After approaching the left rear passenger window, the hazards started flashing and the suspect ran.

  • Armed response informed
  • NSCI Group informed
  • Armed Response checks vehicle during patrols and reports left rear passenger window was broken, but nothing seems stolen.  Owner of vehicle unknown
  • NSCI Group informed
