Thursday 25 April 2024

07h17 Control received a message from a Brooklyn Service Station regarding a man who every morning comes to the station with a flask asking customers to help him buy fuel

  • Armed Response dispatched 
  • On Arrival Armed Response reported the suspect left upon their arrival 
  • All in order when leaving the premises

07h58 – Armed Response called in to control asking to call law enforcement as there is a young man on the corner of Da Gama and Alwin Roads attacking his mother 

  • Law Enforcement contacted and Informed 
  • Armed Response Officers number was requested as he was on scene
  • Law Enforcement called and informed Control that Armed Response reported the young man and his mom had left the scene and that if SAPS are needed the mother will contact them 
  • Control was also informed that the young man has mental issues 
  • All in Order Armed Response resumes patrols

04h21- A Kettley Way client reported two suspicious males walking off his neighbour’s property and looking into others properties one of the alleged suspects is wearing a red hoodie

  • Armed Response dispatched 
  • Armed Response reported patrol was done in Kettle way all in order alleged suspects not seen in the area 

Sunday 28 April 2024

13h31 – Armed Response reported an accident on the corner of Curlew and Wymess Street 2 vehicles involved, 1 person injured lying on the pavement holding his head, and people started fighting.

  • Law Enforcement contacted ref no. 1001996131 - Fighting
  • Law Enforcement contacted ref no. 1001996141- Ambulance ref no. 1415
  • Law enforcement did inform all the relevant departments 
  • Armed Response reported fire and rescue arrived on scene 
  • Armed Response departed scene
