Friday 03 May 2024

06h00 – A Justin Street resident requested Armed Response for a possible intruder on his premises.

  • Armed Response reports full premises check done with client, found all in order

Saturday 04 May 2024

20h53 – A Paarden Eiland Service Station requested Armed Response for attempted fraudulent transaction by a customer 

  • Armed Response despatched
  • On arrival Armed Response reported a suspect in a Silver VW Polo attempted to pay with a card that had a scratched chip.  Suspect attempted to grab the readout slip
  • Armed Response reports suspect had left before they arrived

Sunday 05 May 2024

01h09 – A Onse Jan Street resident requested Armed Response and SAPS for her daughter’s boyfriend wanting to assault her daughter

  • Armed Response despatched
  • Maitland SAPS contacted and informed
  • Armed Response reports daughter’s boyfriend won’t talk to him.  Officer will stand down outside
  • Armed Response reports premises lights were switched off, and all quiet on premises
  • Armed Response leaves premises as all seems in order

04h24 – A Paarden Eiland Service Station requested Armed Response 

  • Armed Response despatched
  • Armed Response spoke with petrol attendants, who reported a Silver BMW broke down on forecourt entrance the right front wheel came off. The driver was refusing to move the vehicle, and informed Armed Response he will get someone to move it, then he left
  • The driver returned with assistance and removed the vehicle.
  • Site Management informed
  • Armed Response resumes patrols
